TEACHER MUST BE A YOGI'
"These are the two lines I always used to feel and yesterday my belief was strengthened. It's been almost 6 months since the IAAT course started. Every time I went for my practice class, I tried to make connections with children and all my theories were left behind. When Tapaswini ma’am gave us a rubric for Lead Teaching Week she told us not to worry. 'Just keep doing what you are doing and you will realize that your rubric is done.' I strongly believe now that the job of a teacher is not a common and an easy job. You are shaping a real human being so it is certainly much more than a duty. It’s a great responsibility. My Dream – One day I can say I am a Yogi with two children at home and thirty children in my class.

I AM A TEACHER
Form our instructor Ariyana, “As a teacher you are here to help children”. In one of her learning workshop, this line of her stuck to me.
When one is talking to children, one should only keep it in mind to help children and the rest all follows. Similarly, when one is speaking in ones class as a teacher one should neither think of how one is speaking and nor pretend to some role model to make ones talk more effective.
Just think of the child you are talking to and how you can comfort her with your words. Your authenticity and effectiveness will follow up automatically.
